The second and third weeks, I started bleeding again like I had been before taking the pills, and the fourth week when I was supposed to get a period, I started bleeding very heavily for days and days, soaking through super-absorbency tampons about every 2 hours and bleeding all down my legs and onto the floor after standing up. I also developed cramps so bad that I couldn't sleep. I never had symptoms this bad even when I was still having a naturally-occurring period.
