| 1 | Prevent pregnancy,regulate periods | It was absolutely terrible. My period didn't get lighter, I severely broke out when I have never had bad acne in my life and I had the worst cramps. I sat in my car and cried almost every night over the stupidest things. I know it is different for everyone but it really did not work good for me. After being off it for 5 months my acne finally cleared up. Also haven't changed eating habits and have gained 8 pounds.... and my wedding ring is tight most morning which makes me think it's mostly water weight. I went through 3 pregnancies and my rings never got tight but suddenly since starting sprintec they are often tight to the point I cannot take them off. Absolutely horrible birth control. It's very upsetting.
