At first the flu was so bad I couldn't really tell any side effects from any particular drug. However, the last two days of taking tamiflu I felt pretty good as far as my flu symptoms, that is until I would take the tamiflu. After taking the medicine as directed I would go from feeling okay to feeling terrible again, often vomiting. My rash was primarily localized to my arms and legs. However I did have some minor patchy redness on my stomach and chest. I was not too concerned as it responded to benadryl, and I wasn't initially sure if it was the flu or the medication. My physician said to be sure to take the full course of the drug so I was hesitant to stop taking it midway through. I had the flu really bad and didn't want to tempt the fates. However, looking back if I could have changed anything I would have stopped taking it as soon as I noticed any adverse effects.
