| 1 | Anxiety | Caused a gambling addiction - this is common and well documented but very little known. Got put on this at the same time as a friend who mortgaged his house to feed his gambling obsession. If I wasn't on the same thing I would never have believed it myself but the gambling was 100% due to the drug and went away as soon we quit. Weirdest thing. Sadly he lost his home because of it. | Can cause a gambling addiction in some people. Look it up. Normal people suddenly gambling away everything. For 36 hours. I thought dying might be preferable to this, but also felt dying was in the realm of possibilities... It was miserable. To be fair, I was supposed to start with only half a pill, and didn't realize that wasn't a "suggestion" until it was too late. However, half a pill was still too much for my husband (who started it at the same time as me for ongoing depression) and we had to go get him a half prescription and cut that one in half (20--> 5 mg). As it wore off, I did "feel normal" for a few hours before being depressed again. So I guess it could work, but I think I'll try some alternatives before I try this again, since my depression is pretty mild. (Gabacalm, St. John's wart). | Husband is overweight... 270-ish? I'm 135 lbs. I don't take any other medications.
