I did some research and found out that ginger/cinnamon/star anise all grounded and boiled in about 4 cups of water is a very effective remedy for Acid Reflux/Esophagitis/GERD. Of course you only need a coffee mug 2 or three times a day. It works wonders. Also Apple Cider Vinegar does the trick. I thank the doctors but sometimes we have to use the herbs/plants that God put here for us. In the Bible days they didn't have nothing in a pill form. I started to have anxiety and panic attack, because every time I was eating, an hour later my heart started to speed up with now reason, I was going from 80 to 120 in a snap, feeling dizzy... I started to realize that it started a bit after I took Protonix, so I decided to stop. Two days later, even if it's not completely back to normal (I still have the heart pounding after eating, but it doesn't last very long) the brain fog and the dizziness are nearly gone. I will deal with the gerd's effects a million times if I can avoid to EVER feel like that again ! I read most of the comments...if you really have an issue that needs prescription treatment, then Protonix is the best solution that I have tried. VSL3 can get as Costco or pharmacy start with 2 packs a day one morning other night with items stated above in paragraph for 2/3 months then down to one regime the rest of your life. What u r doing is rebuilding the good bacteria in your gut. VSL3 must be refrigerated.do not substitute for over the counter probiotics u c in health food store. It is costly about one hundred bucks a month. But it's a cure and natural.
