X-Rays and MRI find no issues in spine and hips, but now I suspect Cialis is major component of symptoms. Before Cialis, I did have some problems when standing where upper thighs would intermittently go numb, and the suspicion was that being overweight and not enough exercise was the issue and possibly resulting in a condition called myralgia paresthetica, where inflammation or weight presses against inguinal nerve. But this condition is frequent now, and when I walk for a while, my legs, particularly right leg is weak, and I start limping. Never had any constant lower back or hip pain before Cialis. Physical therapy and stretching gives some temporary relief. Some difficulty sleeping because of issues, and legs can sometimes feel uncomfortable or restless. I am going to stop Cialis at this time due to similar experiences of others. Cialis did offer moderate benefit to ED issue, but if this is the cause of my other symptoms, not worth feeling like I am crippled when I walk. I suspect Cialis may be causing greater inflammation at the nerve that runs through upper thighs causing more frequency of numbness issue in thighs beyond weight issue. | M | 59 | 6 months 5 1X day | 5/26/2014 | 3 | For BHP | I had used 10mg on occasion for erectile enhancement without being prescribed it in the past and only noticed stuffy nose or headache which were bearable. Hadn't used it in a couple if years. Now I have been having BHP symptoms, mostly hesitation, weak stream even though I have no enlargement and PSA is normal. One doctor prescribed Proscar, but after I read the side effects I said no way. To my surprise, my new doctor suggested Cialis daily, and I though, this will be great, kill two birds with one stone. Well, day one I took .5 and had no side effects, slightly engorged when flaccid, and easy response to stimulation. Second day I took the same and had sex and stayed hard afterwards for a bit. No side effects. Third day took same and enjoyed master baring and orgasm, nice and hard. Later that night I became extremely lethargic, and started aching throughout my back and shoulders. I had a four hour shift at work and I stand for most if it and by the second hour I was seriously not focused because of the pain. I barelty made it through the remaining two hours and got home and couldn't sleep because of the pain. I finally took 800 mg Mortin and took a long and very hot shower until it kicked it and was able to sleep. Today I didn't take my dose and I have lingering but not severe pain. Called doctor to report. Waiting for call back. Maybe 2.5 is better for me since I don't have ED, but like a little boost.
