About a week after the antibiotics, teh pain was still present, so I started using the Nasonex again, thinking that it would clear out any remaining stuff. In addition, the ENT told me that I may have to use the Nasonex for a month before experiencing relief. Shortly thereafter, I was convinced that the infection hadn't gone away, so I made another appt. This time I had a CT scan done and was told that there was no sinus infection present and that my sinuses were clear. But what about this pain? my swollen eyes? etc? The ENT told me that since it was not a sinus infection, he could not help me. He told me that it could be anything from a headache condition to a brain tumor. I was referred to a neurologist. I left the office absolutely hysterical and terrified. I thought about the symptoms and "googled" nasonex side effects and reached this site. While I will keep my appt with the neurologist just in case, many of the symptoms described by people on here have been true for me as well. I tolerate drugs pretty well; I have been on everything from Perocet to Prednisone and rarely have unmanageable side effects. However, this drug has taken my life away for over a month. TOmorrow is my first day of not taking it.
