| 1 | diabetic polyneuropathy | Horrible inability to wake up. Very sleepy, could have slept all day. Extremely blurred vision. Difficulty walking, very unbalanced and tipping over. Problems lifting and holding on to things Speech slurred, have a hissing sound when I speak. Problems finding the words I need to say what I want to say. The whole left side of my face is numb, lips very numb. It feels as I had a mini-stroke or something. | I've only taken 1 dose of 300mg of Neurontin at bedtime and the effect has been so horrible that I don't think I will take another dose tonight. I can't help wondering about the value of our clinical trials, when so many adverse side affects are a result of taking certain drugs, like neurontin.
