| 2 | Fibromyalgia | The doctor put me on this because the out of pocket for my Cymbalta was outrageously expensive, so she replaced it with this. Medication made me extremely tired, gave me terrible brain fog. I felt horrible anxiety and irritability. I also noticed that my pain actually worsened. I feel like I'm stoned and am crying for no reason. I am only on a tiny dose. The pharmacist advised that Neurontin could lead to feelings of being out of the body, at least for time. That scared me. I decided to start light and only took about 1/3rd of a 300mG capsule. I felt totally out of it and kind of detached like depersonalization maybe, Within two days (two doses) my stomach burned so bad I threw them all out. I felt terminally depressed while taking this drug, and thought often about suicide. Whoa this is evil stuff. Did help my pain a little bit but too scared to continue with it specially when you read the reports of a number of people in their 50's who have died sudden deaths while on it. I would never recommend this drug to anyone. | It is quite well known now that there were "issues" with some of the so called clinical trials of this drug. It worries me and amazes me that some GP's even in New Zealand where we do not yet have the excessively restrictive regulations on prescribing Opioids for pain that are in the U.SA. , that anyone would ask a patient to take this poison.
