On the second day I had a panic attack like never before. Nightmare. On the third day I cried like a baby (depression). I was choking, my breathing was shallow. I also noticed feeling depressed as well as having severe panic attacks, which I have never experienced. | An unusual burning sensation in the back of my throat (as well as my chest) Anxiety and depression were other symptoms which resulted in me discontinuing this drug after 4 days. I know with 100% certainly that these symptoms were caused by this drug because there were no other medications (including herbal or vitamins) that could be another “variable” for me to consider. Again, the most prominent symptoms consisted of a burning feeling in the back of my throat, acid reflux resulting in chest pain that I could not resolve with anti-acids. I have read where these symptoms may take weeks to resolve. I cant stress enough how depressed i was, terrible mood swings, my sex drive was gone, i self isolated. My hair first thinned out then started falling out a month later. Stopped falling out after about three weeks, waiting for it to grow now. Visibly thinner, nothing serious tho. Im very athletic and was mostly worried about the joint pain that took a long time to go away. I was prescribed Lamisil for 14 days, I stopped after day 9. The first day I took it I experienced a severe panic attack - I had had them before but that was something else... loud ringing in my ears in minutes after the attack. Occasional ringing out of nowhere, dry mouth, lost around 10 pounds,, was crying every 10 minutes (literally), great depression and frequent panic atracks, no will to live, tingling and burning in my scalp and feet, very tired even after full night of sleep, weak muscles, heart papiltations - short of breath even after just going to the toilet, non itchy rash on my palms,big bruises on my leg without hitting it, very bizzare vivid dreams every night almost like second dimension, uneasy tense feeling in my stomach, pain in my hips and lower back, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, thankfully my taste was ok because i put the pill in the back of my tongue. ALL THAT WAS HAPPENING IN 9 DAYS. I finally stopped on day 9 after i noticed my hair, leg hair and eyebrows got super thin and lifeless, my eyelashes fell out overnight I had 15 of them on my cheek when I woke up. After a week of stopping my joints started to hurt and pop - arthritis like pain in my knees, one elbow, ankles, wrists and fingers. The pain took 2 months to go away. Poor sleep pattern. Very tired in evenings, needing extra sleep. But worst symptom has gradually appeared after 5-months on it has been anxiety. Never had this before. Can't talk in a relaxed way, in my work environment when under stress without feeling breathless and sweaty. now. Also a few runs of heart arrhythmia (fast rate to 210 bpm) for a minute at at time when exercising hard. Horrible symptoms. Have completely cut out caffeine now, and although it has helped a bit, the anxiety symptoms persist and I can't wait to come off it. Blood tests have been fine.
