| 5 | Genital warts | This stuff is fantastic. Don't let all the negative comments on here deter you. Used properly it's practically painless. | I had three small warts on the shaft of my penis. Used Condy 2XD for three days. Very carefully applied to get it only on the warts. No pain at all!! Two dried up and fell off on the fourth and fifth days during the rest period. The third wart required a second week of application. It fell off during the second week rest period. Excellant results!! Relief !!! Highly recommend! I had a cluster a little bigger than a dime on one side of my penis and a smaller one on the other. I was so afraid to go to the doctor when I first saw small bumps there that I tried to ignore it for around a year and a half. I abstained from sex which was hell, but I didn't want anyone to have to go through it. When I finally broke down and told a doctor he sent me to a urologist where I was burned repeatedly once every six weeks three times with severely strong wart remover before I asked due to the pain if there was anything else. He prescribed condylox and I used it as prescribed. It did burn and there was white flaking, but I was applying it myself so no more embarrassment of laying on a doctors bed while he painted my privates with acid. When I finally went back for the last time he checked with the solution that makes them visible and they were all gone, finally. About a week and a half later I noticed a small growth which I quickly applied the gel to as instructed, and it went away as well. It has been two years since that happened and I have not seen any warts reappear at all. I still have a small amount of the gel left as well in case something does happen. I still don't know if I'll ever be comfortable telling a woman that I have genital warts so I have to always use a condom, but for peace of mind they are gone. My skin around the areas where i applied condylox was raw and bleeding. I still h | My best advice is to have a healthy diet, raise your immune system, quit cigarettes and alcohol and DO NOT PANIC. Use a nail file in order to allow the gel to enter the warts. I used a finger nail clipper to remove some of the larger ones and that was a relief. This was also where the GW were showing. The nurse told me any broken skin or cuts would cause a good environment for warts to develop. I had Cryo which did not work in the long term, only short term and aldara made no difference at all. This product was recommended by the doctor. I first started using it and applied twice a day over 3 days. I noticed a slight sharp raw pain. On day 4 I had incredible irritation and swelling around the whole area. I was concerned, but after reading various comments found this to be common so just made sure I moisturised around the area. The first cycle formed scabs on the warts, which used to happen with cryo, but the sensation was different, almost like the medication was getting deeper into the problem. The second cycle was much better so there was only slight irritation and no redness anywhere but where the warts were. The third cycle completely removed the warts, each time creating a scab on the specific region. Despite initial irritation I prefer this to other treatments as it can be self-administered and is straight forward to use. The redness subsides after extended use. I also have the bottled liquid which seems to go a long way, so it should help me keep check on any returning warts. I hope that I can sustain a long period without any however, and I am aware that the medication also aids suppressing regrowths. For very small warts, this is very common since it is almost impossible to apply and not get any on healthy skin. | This is basically for the guys out there who have penile warts. As a tester to my skin (wart was on delicate frenulum skin on penis) I only applied for 2 days instead of 3, because I was aware of potential issues so I wanted to go slow. Wart initially turned white and got smoother and bigger, I thought it was getting worse. By the evening of day 3 (first day without treatment for me) the wart started to suddenly fade, and not scab or drop off like others report. I'm on day 4 now and the wart has pretty much totally disappeared. Warts around base and slightly up the penis shaft. Had them for ages, couple years at least. Warts quite thick at that point. At first I was too keen and painted as much of the stuff on the main area as I could with a small brush which burnt the skin around the warts. There was no pain as such like others mentioned, more just felt raw/skin was peeling off. After one 3 day cycle the smaller warts came off (with a bit of help, gave them a scratch). The bigger ones took a second 3 day treatment and got killed off entirely. The skin which i had burnt previously healed as normal within a couple weeks so don't stress about that. I then learnt to just apply the liquid to the wart only, i found that easy using a tiny brush. Results were better that way, completely unobtrusive and hardly felt anything. The warts initially go a little bigger, then change colour, then the skin shows tiny dead spots and just dies off. You can exfoliate to push it along a bit. I found that the newer warts with thinner skin die off in the single 3 day treatment. If you need to just keep repeating the 3 days every monday. Make sure you dont exceed 3 days at a time, the rest days are essential for the process to kick in. All in all i highly recommend this stuff, it's so easy and effective. It is acid you're applying down there. | I used the topical solution not the gel just like the bottle instructed - twice a day for 3 days then 4 days off and after two cycles they're pretty much gone. Read the entire instructions!! You're putting this on your private areas for fuks sake!! I put the smallest amount I could to cover the warts and had no negative effects. You won't feel intense burning if you apply it ONLY on the warts. Also, I read some people paid hundreds to get the cream - that's pricy. Using GoodRx I got the topical solution for $34 - worked great. Read the instructions before use, use as little as possible to cover the warts and you'll be fine. Bad news - it's a virus, so you'll always have it. Good news - very common, you can have long stretches of time w/o them. For some people, they never return. Few key things to note: a weak immune system and stress will not help the healing. I know it's hard, but you're not alone. Smoking and drinking do not help. I don't smoke, but if I drink alot, I sometimes get an outbreak. Be healthy. Eat well. Less Is more. Apply ONLY to the wart. It is corrosive. LET IT DRY. I find 10-15 min enough time. The burning/rawness doesn't happen to me until day 3 or first rest day. Painful, but it gets rid of warts every time. I have tried cryo/freezing them off - this worked the first time or two, but only with isolated warts. I had a cluster and that seemed to make it worse. Condylox gel works best for me, but everyone is different. I've had lots of partners and lots of unprotected sex (right or wrong). Do not have sex when you have the warts. Period. If casual, no warts, wear a condom. If starting a relationship, condom and disclose you have it. Some are ok with it, some not - but you'll feel better you've done the right thing. BTW - my recurrences are much less. Maybe one wart a year, if. Same spot as my first wart years ago. I have also gone years without having any warts. Be healthy and happy. It helps.
