It helped me at first and i felt great but after 90 days i just started feel ill.I thought i had a stomach bug, i was so tired and felt nauseated. Couldn't get out of bed, can barely stay up. Now i feel depressed and have no drive. Head in the clouds. Blood pressure is erratic. I give this medication a "2" rating instead of a "1" because I don't yet know what benefits - if any - I may be getting from it. What I DO know is that the benefits are going to have to be pretty spectacular to outweigh the side effects. I'm not even sure I've seen the worst of it - I've heard of people who took many months, even up to a year to acclimate to this stuff. I've only been on it for three months, so it's possible that it could get even worse. Increased my carvidilol to 12.5 and booked me for surgery. They were unable to hookup pacemaker, but I now have a defibulator implanted. 2nd attempt to hook up pacemaker failed. I feel way worse, NO energy, not even to shower, debilitating in my back, my life has been hell the last 6 months. I feel like it is all some sick experiment or joke. So what if it extends my life, i'd rathe die than live like this. I am so sorry I let the Dr intimidate me into anything. I was experiencing extreme fatigue with even the slightest amount of exertion, could only walk very short distances, and had to sleep in a recliner because I couldn't lie down flat because I'd have trouble breathing. Coreg removed all of those symptoms, this week I started a daily walking routine and can now do a whole mile without being exhausted. I plan to increase that distance soon.
