WISHED I NEVER RECEIVED STENT. AS AN RN , I KNOW THEY USUALLY DON'T WORK , AND BIG $ FOR DOC. LIKE A FACTORY. I USED TUMERIC, OMEGA FISH OIL, GINGER AND MILK THISTLE TO LOWER CHOLESTEROL AND THIN BLOOD. IN ADDITION EAT WILD SALMON, GRASS FED MEAT AND VEGETABLES. SMOOTHIE W SPINACH, PUNEAPPLE, GINGER , FLAX SEED. I'M OVER THIS GARBAGE. | I'M SICK TO DEATH OF DRS BEING IGNORANT OF THESE DANGEROUS DRUGS. Not sure if this was the plavix or the angioplasty, but had no chest pain ever prior. I have a loss of physical strength on plavix and had to buy a jar opener, lol. Minor side effects include feeling colder, minor hair shedding and disturbed sleep. I also have had frequent upset stomach in the mid morning, which has finally gone away after 5 months. No bleeding or bruising, except for the first week. | Overall, I'm satisfied with the plavix. My LAD was 80 percent blocked prior to the stent and my RCA is still 50 percent blocked. I'm not thrilled about taking plavix, but we don't have much of a choice do we. I also take a daily aspirin and blood pressure medications.
