1  allergies GERD symptoms, leg veins I have been on Flonase for years. Oddly in the fall I started having real issues with the veins in my legs. Constant pain and the ability to sit down. Went to a vein doctor, he recommended surgery- when I asked if it could be the Flonase, he said yes. That sometimes for some people steroids cause water retention which could irritate the veins of my legs. When I stopped using steroids the vein pain improved. F 45 2 years

1  nasal allergies On third day my scalp started tingling and was crawly itchy. Then i developed pimple like sores on my lips and eyelids. Then the nightmares of potato buds growing from my scalp and then the next night a nightmare of roaches crawling on my scalp. I became photosensitive and my eyes are so red it looks like i am on crack. By the way i feel, the constant itching and batting bugs out of my hair i might as well do crack. I also started farting non stop. F 48 7 days

3  Allergies It really helps me with allergies, sneezing, itchy eyes. Unfortunately, it also causes depression, irritability and may or may not be connected with some of my sleep issues i have been taking flonase daily in spring season when my allergies are the worst and whenever else is needed throughout year. This spring i figured since i haven't really been taking it for last few months ( i ran out ) that i'd reupp my usage for a week since allergies are really bad to 2 sprays in each nostril for a week as directions say when starting to use flonase. Well i suddenly felt horrible. I started to feel bad and negative about everything and super irritable which is a little unusual for me. So i wondered if there was any correlation. then i started googling it and realized your only suppopsed to be on this for short amounts of time and anything longer then 6 months should be consulted with a doctor. I stopped taking it for a week and took other allergy meds. I felt the weight kinda lift off me and i didn't feel so bad or irritable.. I was wondering if maybe it was placebo and so I recently took it again to see if maybe i was just overdoing it. so i took just 1 spray each nostril and sure enough i feel very irritable and not so good. Unfortunately, i think i'm done with it forever and i'm kinda bummed about that :-( M 30 2 years

1  Allergies Nurse practitioner suggested and I began taking when treated for an ear infection. I developed a rash and an infection on my face, which was treated with mupiricin. Then I developed pink eye and excruciating low back pain. Add to the list elevated resting heart rate and anxiety. I followed the chain of events back to flonase and stopped using it, felt immediately better. I would rather sneeze than use flonase. 58 9 months

1  Allergies Extreme anxiety, agitation, high blood pressure very erratic. Rapid pulse, irritated throat. I stopped use of Flonase because of said side effects even though Pharmacist said there were no side effects from using a spray. I do not recommend this spray to anyone.  1  Seasonal Allergies Anxiety I was totally unprepared for the anxiety that began after using Flonase. I didn't realize the culprit until 3 days of use. I've not used it in 2 days and I can finally tell that I'm getting back to normal. This needs to be listed as a side effect on the label of this medication! M 36 4 days

1  Allergies After reading some of the comments here about extreme anxiety, I have to say it really hit home with me. We recently got Flonase over the counter here, so because I have been a long time sufferer of allergies I tried it a few days ago. Well on top of the extreme anxiety, terrible headache and just overall bad feeling, I started having extreme phantom smell of smoke. It's like a burning dirty ashtray is inside my nose. I feel like I'm going completely insane, and then it doesn't help when I read that it could also mean a brain tumor!! Great! Thanks google! PLEASE can anyone tell me if they have had this strange side effect too, because I'm completely freaking out here, and I don't know what to do - other than obviously stop taking Flonase, which I have done!!
