It took five days to have a BM, after which I was able to, daily, for about a week. But already it seems not to be working as well as it was at first. I continue taking it but I'm still constipated. I've been starting to get acid reflux, which, I'm afraid, may be a reaction to the Miralax. I've tried everything else possible. I had a bowel resection in February that almost killed me, spent almost six weeks in the hospital, endured several infections, and after all of that, I'm just as constipated, nauseated and fatigued as I was before the surgery. I was hoping that Miralax would get me through until I can figure out what to do next. For three months now (the longest I have gone in years) I am problem free completely - like a kid again. I do notice some extra gasiness (overnight usually only), but none of the neurological things others cite. When I stood up in the waiting room to go into the prep area, I almost passed out.
