The paramedics measured my blood pressure at 250/195. | By the time that I reached the hospital, I was feeling better having only been given oxygen. They determined that I did not have a heart attack and did a CT scan on my aorta and found it to be normal. I have had similiar attacks on three different ARBs. Also had difficulty concentrating and focusing on a job at hand. | The 160mg. Diovan only lowered my BP to the 150's. When I added 1250 mg. of garlic a day, it brought it down 10 points. A second garlic brought it down another 10, and a third another 10, till my BP was in the 130's. I have now quit the Diovan and am amazed at how awake I feel. I am working with a naturopathic doctor to find a non-drug method of addressing the high BP. On a routine insurance exam, my GGT liver enzimes were high. Diovan was my only medication.
