When I discontinued Seroquel, I lost 35 pounds. I recently started up again in October 2005, and have gained a little weight, but what concerns me is that this medication can cause increased triglycerides, and cholesterol, it did me at 200mg, but so far so good currently a second time at only 100mg at night. I really like Seroquel, but do worry about the side effects of the above I mentioned, it is fantastic for sleep, and if you can find the right dose for you, you don't wake up too groggy either. Best wishes to all. | I have been on Seroquel 2 times in my life, first time, 200mg at bedtime, presently I take 100mg at bedtime. It is the only med that gets me to sleep from my racing thoughts. It gives me a full night's sleep, and the side effects are 50/50.
