But, when I stop taking it, I experience deep depression and increased anxiety a day or so later. It passes fairly quickly, but is scary while it happens. I have also experienced dry thoat and mild headaches while taking it. | I find it largely ineffective for helping with my allergies. BAD POINTS: Most severe side effect for me was EXTREME dryness of my face - looked like a bad sunburn on my cheeks. No appetite at all - you can only lose so much weight. I also experienced headaches, tiredness and blurred vision for days AFTER stopping the medicine. | After taking Clariton D off and on for a month, I've opted to stop taking the medicine and just deal with the allergies. Any drug that alters your chemical makeup to this extent is not worth taking. Just like recreational drugs, it's great while your doing them, but the after effects are hell.
