It keeps my mood within healthy ranges but I also still feel emotions intensely -- in other words, it hasn't made me feel "flat" or anything. It doesn't have any negative cognitive effects for me. Escalate the dose properly. My doctor even tested my lamotrigine blood levels to make sure everything was alright.
