| 5 | Mood disorder/ PTSD | I had no side effects at the beginning but as I got up in dose, I began having vaginal dryness, dry mouth, and wrinkles became more noticeable and short term memory loss, itchy head | Besides the wrinkles, I can live with the side effects as much as I hate it because it has literally been a life saver for me, my mood swings are gone, I can actually focus on tasks, my depression has lifted, I’m less anxious, able to deal with stressful situations, impulsiveness is gone. I would have a Grand Mal seizures every week, now I have not had one for almost 2 months. ( 7.) Not a lot of time yet on this drug, but my Grand Mal seizures have never been this well controlled. When I take the higher dose in the morning, I tend to feel slower and more sluggish. I had a hypomanic episode that lasted for months followed by a period of deep, deep depression. I didn't see a doctor during that time, when I finally did she put me on maniacal (generic). No real weight gain, I've had two small hypomanic episodes lasting only days and it helped and those were in five years. Like I said, no side effects but you have to watch for a rash. The change wasn't INSTANT but nothing is, I saw results after a month and we titrated slowly. It also has some antidepressant qualities.
