| 5 | Bacterial Vaginosis | As far as I know I didn't have any, but some very mild cramps. the discharge wasn't as bad as everyone said it would be. I don't know if this is a side effect but the past few days I've been very emotional. Almost depressed. I just want to cry over every single thing, and no my period is not coming. | With my anxiety I was terrified to take this because I put in my head that I would have such a bad time. But it was better than expected. I could say that the medicine gave me gas, or made me feel sick. But I get gas a lot anyways. My job is hot and makes me feel sick. So I can't confirm that those were also side effects. Could have been coincidence. But over all it was great. Although I never experienced bad odor or bad discharge (although I experienced this in high school and early adult years on and off) I started experiencing pain during sex and it would not go away. My first time using the gel I experienced Brown tissue like discharge. Abdominal cramps such as being on period. Itching increase by day 2/3 and itching decrease by day 4. Constant urinating but I suspect I have a uti aswell and currently medicating my uti. Overall fatigue, back pain and my god the Diarrhea!! every time I pee, I poop a little. I poop multiple times a day since I started treatment | Need to get probiotics as others have commented. My period is due to start on day 5 of treatment, so I am unsure if the very light spotting is due to my period coming or the gel. Taking acidophilus while on the medication will decrease the risk of a yeast infection, but if it still remains a prescription for yeast may be administered by your doctor.
