| 5 | BV | Gas, minor bloating, fatigue, cottage cheese-like discharge (days 2-5, and a few days after completion) no odor associated with discharge | I have taken oral antibiotic for BV before, this did not seem to have nearly as large of an impact on daily life as oral antibiotic. While vaginal insertion of gel was"inconvenient", the gel itself was less invasive than yeast treatment (cream) and seemed to stay put better than the antifungal cream. 5 days is also much better than the 7 or 10 day oral antibiotic treatments I've had. Will take again. Did consume moderate amounts of alcohol (1-2 drinks) with this medication, with no side effects.
