I'm sure a lot of women do get yeast from this, but I believe that this discharge is just the left over gel coming out. So far (tonight is my third night), my symptoms have cleared and the small amount of side effects (the discharge and loss of appetite) are messy, but not dire in my opinion and definitely not "OMG ITS SOO GROSS, KILL ME NOW" status- wear a pad and get over it. I thought the young girls are supposed to be the dramatic ones! I would recommend this medication if you really want to get rid of the BV.
