| 1 | Ragweed Allergies | This med causes severe depression! Take at your own risk. They advertise it as non-sedating, that's almost laughable. It's as sedating as Benedryl. If you feel suicidal or dark depression, get off of it ASAP before you harm yourself or others. Take Quercetin for seasonal allergies from your local Health Food Store. It's a natural Mast Cell Stabilizer made from the white rind of lemons or onion peel. The allergy drug Nalcrom is the synthetic version of Quercetin. It's cheap, effective, and actually "good for you" in that it's a powerful anti-oxidant and will reduce free-radical damage (aging). | M | 40 | 1 weeks 20 MG | 9/7/2012 | 1 | Allergies | Was extremely tired all day, regardless of when I took the drug. Althought it helped my allergy symptoms, gave up after a month of total fatigue, weight gain, and irritability. That's when the problems really began. When the epiphany came to me one day about a month ago I stopped taking Zyrtec and immediately started itching with hives on palms of hands and upper torso ( which, thank God, has now completely subsided). The prescription Zyrtec and the OTC Zyrtec are the exact same thing. McNeil has not been contracted to produce a "cheap offbrand" by any means. McNeil, a Johnson & Johnson Company, purchased Pfizer's OTC division, and thus purchased the Zyrtec brand when the FDA cleared it for non-prescription use. | M | 41 | | 12/9/2008 | 5 | Chronic allergies | The itching!!!
