For the first few days I started to sleep through the night. Now, I wake up around 3am with horrible anxiety, instant thoughts of suicide, just wide awake, and like I felt before the medication took effect. I also take 3mg of Lunesta, it's not been working though. I still take it, I'm scared to death to withdrawl from it. I was hoping the seroquel would decrease daytime anxiety, but nope. Still need 1mg xanax 4x daily. After reading a lot of these reviews, I am totally freaked out and seriously think it may be best to discontinue. I've told the psychiatrist that it's making me agitated / irritable. He only increases the dosage! I've been prescribed benzodiazepines for roughly 14 years. I'm already so dependent on xanax. Now after reading that this could likely cause brain damage... WOW. I SERIOUSLY DISLIKE BIG PHARMA.
