| 2 | HSV2 | I feel like I am having an out of body experience sometimes. Last night in bed, my heart felt like it skipped a beat and I had to take a deep breath. It was very strange. Lemon Balm Salve used to work wonders but I don't know what has happened lately, it's not working like it used to. The longest I have gone without an outbreak has been 5 months, and that was primarily using Lemon Balm...Valtrex allows my private parts to feel semi-normal but my brain feels very strange. I feel dizzy, out of sorts, and I feel confused at times, also very loopy. | I pray for a vaccine because this medication hurts my brain. There has to be a better way to manage this beast of a virus. I feel like I have to use the 1 mg because no other dose worked for me, but the trade off is pain in my brain, which is concerning. I have had HSV2 for 14 years, and I just recently started ramping the Valtrex up again, due to more frequent outbreaks. Kidney function is still good, don't expect that to chage, just drink a lot of water. | Sometimes my brain feels foggy, could it be the HSV or the medication, hard to say.
