| 4 | Fibromyalgia | Dry mouth, nausea, not sure if euphoria would be the word since there is no feeling of joy with it, but I can't think of another word to describe it, also antihistamine (?) | I actually started taking Ultram (Tramadol) twice. The first bottle I only took one or two and then stopped because of the dizziness and nausea. (I don't take any meds unless I am absolutely convinced the benefits outweigh the trouble.) Then a few months later, I tried again and found that it made a significant difference in how long I can sleep before waking up from pain. (5 or 6 hours as opposed to 2 hours) The odd thing is that I'm now allergic to my cat. (?) I found by coincidence that within an hour of taking Tramadol, the sneezing, coughing, watery eyes, etc. clears up and I'm fine. I'm wondering if the allergy developed because of the Tramadol, OR if it simply coincided with initiating the drug and the drug has this nice antihistamine side benefit?
