| 1 | thinning hair | Sexual dysfunction, impotence. | Despite what some people may say..... Rogaine foam HAS definitely affected my sex drive. After about 2 weeks of using as directed I noticed a definite decrease in sexual desire and difficulty in maintaining erections. After a month and a half my penis was nothing but a wet noodle. I visited with my dr. and he gave me a prescription for Viagra which didnt help at all. After the second visit my dr performed various blood work which revealed low t, high estrogen, high prolactin and high Sbgh levels. My dr immediately performed and mri on my brain, pituatary and thyroid. All came back o.k. After some further research I mentioned to my dr that I found several forums on line where men taking Rogaine complained about loose of sex drive. He discussed this with several of his colleages and they suggested I stop taking Rogaine and retest my blood in 4 weeks. Well blood test performed 4 weeks later showed that everything is now back in the normal range and I have my sex drive back.
