1  Severe Hayfever Extreme anxiety, tremors, numbness and tingling in extremities, cold patches on skin, feet feel hot and sweaty all the time, bad insomnia, feeling of being hypo or adrenaline rush worse when trying to sleep or relax. This stuff is a miracle cure for the first few days. After the first spray hayfever symptoms reduced by 50% then completely gone after 4 days. I had increased energy and strength, was lifting more at the gym etc and I gained weight very quickly, then I started to get tremors in my hands where i couldn't hold a glass, that lasted a day or so then I got numbness in hands and feet which have persisted and insomnia started. My doctor said was stress. Then after 2 nights of no sleep at all, I found this site with everyone else describing what I've been having. It seems like the drug from hell. The side-effects are worse whenever i try to relax or sleep. Its as if it knows and hits me with adrenaline - if i start to doze off its like i'm jolted into being awake again. I've been off it 5 days now but feel only mildly better. I've had one nights sleep of 10 hours - was heaven and another of 4 hours. Otherwise nothing. When I wake up, instead of feeling relaxed and refreshed, i feel nervy, anxious, exhausted and hypo. Excersise seems to lessen the symptoms but with little sleep its very difficult. I can't believe that the Nasonex website doesn't mention anything about this. Thanks so much to this site for having this information here. I hope we all recover but it's scarey not taking the medication and not getting any better. Oh my doctor also sent me off for an MRI and blood tests - all came back negative but never thought it could be attributed to Nasonex. M 48 15 days

3  Severe Hayfever I have an update to these side effects. I have been experiencing them now for about six weeks. What I've discovered after having been to numerous doctors and having all sorts of tests etc is that I have been on the verge of suffering from adrenal fatigue. Naxonex contains corticosteroids which mimics the cortisone - the hormone that produces adrenaline. When I took the Nasonex, it basically pushed my adrenals over the edge producing classic adrenal exhaustion symptoms - such as numbness and hot/cold areas of the body due to poor blood distrobution and really bad insomnia. Do a search on adrenal fatigue and you'll come up with many of the symptoms we all experience. I read that a very high percentage of the population suffer from adrenal fatigue. It would make sense then, that this medication could affect many people by boosting their adrenaline to the extreme - the symptoms of which are very nasty indeed. It also explains why others, who may have normal levels of adrenaline and not M 48
