| 3 | Gum infection | After a day or two I noticed the headache and dizziness. Then my neck became stiff. I became confused and unable to concentrate. I was somewhat anxious. My urine became very dark and stool became almost black and narrow. I would feel a little better in the morning after not having taken it during the night, but as soon as I took the first pill of the day the symptoms came back. I also experienced mild fever and chills. I was also on amoxicillin, but typically only experience lower GI upset from that. I just had a very strong feeling of not being well and fear that I could die suddenly. | I had expected quick recovery since the half-life is pretty short, but the improvement has been only a little bit each day. It is about 9 days after my last dose. Stool is still very narrow which suggests that there is inflammation in the lower GI tract. Most other symptoms are generally greater than 95% resolved.
