| 3 | Hives | Day 1: Received 40 mg/ml inj intramuscularly, top of buttocks, orally took (1) 25mg Hydro Pamo. | First off, I am under a derm's care for Alopecia Areata and have responded well to oral prednisone in the past. Appx 3 weeks after my last extended prednisone regimen, I broke out in hives (cause unknown / unconfirmed). I received a Kenalog injection immediately (today) and was prescribed 2 antihistamines, Ranitidine 300mg/day & Hydroxyzine Pamoate 50mg/day. I am an otherwise healthy individual (minus the hair loss) with normal bloodwork (the works) conducted prior to Thanksgiving.
