1  ospeopenia in my hip Acid reflux, heartburn, irritable bowl syndrome - alternating constipation and diahrea, loose bowels, muscle pains, worsening migraines. Stop taking this immediately. The side effects are horrible the more you read about it. I'm still trying to work it out of my system after I stopped taking it about 2 months ago when I realized it was the cause of my symptoms. My doctor put me on this medication because of a slight loss of bone density in my hip caused by Aromasin that I have been taking for breast cancer. Now I take a full regimen of a bone building multi vitamin (containing calcium, boron, magnesium), Vitamin D3 (lots), Vitamin K, Stronthium, Iprivlavone and Black Cohosh (for menopausal symptoms). I won't know the results of this natural regimen until my next bone scan but anything has to be better than Fosamax! F 48 4 months
