| 1 | Used as anti nausea for migraine | Anxiety, panicy feeling, clammy, couldn't breath, restless, and fidgity, sense of losing my mind,thought I was dying.Side effects lasted for three days! | I had the exact same feeling as all the others had. Immediately after getting the drug in IV form. I Wanted to "get out" of the hospital room, and could not wait to be realeased. I wanted to rip out the IV too, and did rip off the blood pressure cuff, and threw it on the floor.I kept saying, "I hate this feeling, I don't like this, and started to cry. The nurse said that she knew what I was feeling, that she had taken the drug before, and that it was a normal reaction! I told her there was NOTHING normal about this! I felt strange while leaving the hospital, and wanted to also jump out of the car,and just "get out!" After getting home, I tried to lay down, I couldn't. I felt I had to move, then I started to panic. I couldn't breath. My heart was beating so fast.I became clammy,and it scared my family so bad! I kept screaming, "somethings wrong" I callled 911, and was taken back to the ER. The nurse told me that the medicine should be out of my system by now, and that I was just panicing for no reason. I was treated so unsympatheticly upon my return. I was crying, and pleading to be helped. That was Friday, Feb 18th 2011, and it is now Sunday and I still have symptoms.The Dr also told me that 1-2 % of patients experience side effects. What I'm reading is more than 1-2 %!!
