| 1 | Afib | Extreme fatigue, severe dizziness, lowered resting heart rate by 20-15%, unsteady gait, irritable, vision focus adjustment speed slowed way down, unable to sleep well. Symptoms persisted but at a lesser severity 3 months after taking the drug. | I was given amarodarone in the hospital via IV without my knowledge following a cardioversion following by AFib. The drug was prescribed for me but I stopped it after 7 days as the side effects were horrific. I am otherwise an extraordinarily healthy male in very good physical shape, good diet, good sleep patterns, etc. I would not recommend this drug except in life-threatening situations. There are more serious effects if taken over an extended period of time that I hope to avoid.
