| 4 | Difficulty breathing due to asthma | I experienced unrelieved throat-clearing (just kept having to clear my throat), but this could also have been a side-effect of my daily inhaler, Flovent HFA. | For two years, one puff of Albuterol Sulfate (TEVA brand) worked well for me as a rescue inhaler when I had occasional bronchial tightening or shortness of breath while I was also taking Flovent HFA as a daily inhaler. Recently, I have had more severe and prolonged asthma symptoms, so I started needing 1-2 puffs of Albuterol every 4-6 hours. The symptoms no longer seemed to go away completely with Albuterol + daily Flovent, so I have switched to a daily corticosteroid with a long-acting beta-agonist. | F | 41 | 2 years 90 mcg 4X D | 2/22/2022 | |
| 4 | Difficulty breathing due to asthma | I'm still taking this medication. I experience no side effects that I am aware of. | I still keep an Albuterol Sulfate cartridge as a back-up inhaler, but I have used it only once or twice in the past year. I primarily use Albuterol Sulfate if my breathing becomes difficult during periods of exercise, and it does help relieve tightness in my chest and helps me take deeper breaths. | F | 43 | 4 years 90 mcg 1X AN | 5/21/2024 | |
