Initially I statrted taking this drug for pains from a wrist surgery--due to a broken bone accident, and then I continued taking it only once in awhile when I felt a combination of nervous, painful and tired. The pharmacist told me to drink lots of water in order to get the full effects of the Hydrocodone and prevent constipation. This is my second prescription to Vicodin and by taking the pharmacists advice, it worked more effectively than the first.
