| 1 | Weight Gain,Decreased Urination,Diminished Libido | MD switched me from Diovan 160(Headaches) to Lisinopril 20mg.Gained 5 pounds during first 3 days on lisinopril and I'm a long distance runner.Experienced really decreased urine output,metallic taste in mouth,resting pulse that dropped to 32 vs 40 on Diovan,and serious sexual difficulties.It did keep my BP under control but with significant side effects.Didn't like the Diovan headaches but that's preferable to the Lisinopril tale of woe. | M | 65 | 45 days 20 1X day | 12/13/2010 | 4 | High Blood Pressure | Progressively severe dry hacking cough. After feeling like crap for 4 months I decided to stop taking any pill I had started new in the last 4 months. I stopped taking LIsinopril and within 3 days ALL MY SYMPTONS stopped!!!!! I am a paramedic and I didn't even know about the serious side effects of this drug. I felt like i had taken 10 mg of morphine, with the dizziness, confusion, brain fog. Add into that the weakness and muscle cramps. I am a VERY fit person, exercise 1 hr day, great diet and it hit me hard. If you are have any problems with this drug, call you doctor!
