| 1 | ESI stopped covering my LoEstrin Fe | Taking for HRT. Previously on LoEstrin Fe and I was not menstruating. ESI doesn't give a F- about women and stopped covering LoEstrin and suggested this. My OB said it was NOT the same, and she was right - I have a full-fledged bleed with cramps throughout the iron pills, and now I have 5 yellow pills left in the pack and am bleeding and cramping and going through pads - but the men who run ESI must have gotten a better discount for this junk and don't care about patients. My OB wants me to stick to HRT for at least one more year, but I don't know if I can make it another week on this crap. | It SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! I have been on it for 2 weeks and it's probably my body getting used to it and the fact that I switched from a different type of birth control but so far I am not liking it at all. I get extremely nauseous all the time and horrible cramps. I am also very small, my weight is 100 lb. and I had always struggled with gaining weight so me feeling nauseous all the time = no wanting to eat anything = losing more weight. I was put on birth control to regulate my periods since I would bleed a lot and would cause my anemia. But at this point ever since I started being on birth control I had always felt sick and so unmotivated to do anything. I tried to treat my heavy periods with this but my mental health always comes first and I will not be continuing this as I am not comfortable with what I am experiencing after 6 weeks.
