I usually get nauseous with antibiotics, but I didn't feel anything on Augmentin XR. | After reading comments on this site I was nervous about the side effects, but I had a really positive experience with Augmentin XR. The only complaint I have is that my infection (which is still unidentified even after two strep tests, mono test, and a CBC) came back while I was still on Augmentin (I was good for 5 days). I now get to have a tonsilectomy, but that is beside the point here. Side effects depend on the person, what is being treated, and probably the age of the person.
