VOTRIENT  (PAZOPANIB HYDROCHLORIDE):  Pazopanib is used to treat kidney cancer. It may also be used to treat certain other types of cancer (soft tissue sarcoma). Pazopanib belongs to a class of drugs known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It works by decreasing the blood supply to the cancer tumor to slow tumor growth.  5  Kidney cancer spread to lungs Initially, my feet were on fire for 1 1/2 weeks then went away. On going, I have frequent bouts with loose stools and an urgency to find a bath room/. Has been keeping my small tumors (>13 mm) stable or has shrunk them. Side effects minimal. I have never determined the actual cost of this drug - billed directly thru insurance. M 59 2.5 years
