| 2 | Osteoporosis | After 1 year in, I feel like my overall health has declined. I'm woozy and mildly headachy most of the time. Blood chemistry is totally out of whack. Taking 50,000 units of vitamin D and still too low. I also have peculiar sporadic painful twinges in feet and legs, acid reflux, high blood pressue, lower back pain, chronic tinnitus and lethargy. I take my injection about an hour before bed to minimize the drug's effect during waking hours. My doctor says my wooziness isn't from Forteo because it should have already passed through my system by morning. I really want to take a break and see if I can return to some semblance of normalcy. No testing yet to check efficacy because doctor wants to wait full 2 years. Not happy with current quality of life and really have to decide if it's worth it and the increased risk of bone cancer. Vitamin D is the best anticancer vitamin, and my levels are nowhere near where they should be. | Pens don't always function properly.
