| 1 | EPI (half of my pancreas removed | I have had painful digestion issues after getting half of my pancreas removed and half of my stomach, due to a tumor but no cancer. It was getting better a bit- then they gave me creon.. any progress I had made went straight out of the window. After eating I was in the most pain I have been in. I have had only liquid bowl movements and some nausea. It made everything so much worse. I stopped taking it a day ago and things are already improving but I'm still not where I was. I was having severe digestion issues also with acid reflux, belching, bloating, swelling, etc. Could barely eat anything. The acid reflux and belching went away but I had most of the common side effects, uncommon side effects and most of the rare side effects. Had JUST refilled for 3 months when I realized it had to be this Rx. I was planning my funeral and had no idea it could be from this med. CREON (PANCRELIPASE (AMYLASE;LIPASE;PROTEASE)): This medication contains digestive enzymes to help break down and digest fats, starch, and proteins in food.
