| 5 | Dental work | Highly effective. I have taken Vicodin previously and that made me ill more so than pain relief. I think because ibuprofen is an antiinflamatory it works well with the soft tissue of the mouth and has a more mild effect on the stomach. My only complaint is that I felt more itchy perhaps because it has 7.5 mg of hydrocodone compared to 5mg of Vicodin...?
