| 3 | A1C was increasing | About a year after taking I developed a swollen itchy vagina and after a year of trying yeast creams and steroid creams with no improvement I took myself off the Invokana as I read it can be one of the adverse effects of drug and my rash/ bumps on my Vulva went away Note I did see an actual Vulva specialist and she thought it could be the Invokana! It was also causing me toe pain (tips of toes)which I thought might be gout but that also disappeared after stopping Invokana! Then I read in rare cases people have had to get their toes amputated due to reaction to Invokana! INVOKANA (CANAGLIFLOZIN): Canagliflozin is used with a proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes.
