| 5 | i have BV | All i had is a little brown spots within a day i start to see progress. But the only problem i was suppose to take the 500mg tablets for 7days but it finish in 5days. I was suppose to start it early in the morning but i start it Around 11am and i had to take it for Every 8hrs. But it works Good for me. I smell so fresh again thanx to my doctor and metronizole tablets. Every woman body is different. But u never know until u try. It works for me i love,it. It cleared the gardranella, but left me with yeast infections that were worse than the original problem. It has also completely destroyed my period, even on oral BC, I started a week before the placebos, bleeding chunky and licorice black. My normal period was then heavy for a day and is back to deep brown and very badly clotted. Cramps are terrible. I heard the pill form can cause extreme anxiety, but not the gel. My anxiety level just seemed higher than normal and it was a bit uncomfortable for a while, but not unbearable. The metallic taste in my mouth was annoying, but tolerable. It subsided a bit on day 3 and onward. Other than that, I had no issues and did not experience the white, chunky discharge a lot of people have. I also took Diflucan for a possible yeast infection one day before starting Metrogel and am taking probiotic pills everyday. This helps to prevent any yeast infections from occurring during treatment, too.
