My doctor put me on provera, to re-start my menstrual cycle after a cycle was skipped after a miscarriage, and then put me on Clomid. I ovulated late and have subsequently NOT become pregnant. We also used opk sticks, which helps pinpoint ovulation. I believe clomid is safe, but not to be used longterm, no more than 6 cycles and up to 250 mg.
