It worked beautifully to reduce their pain, itching, and drastically reduced their size. That's why I rated this a three. Unfortunately, the side effects are not worth the improvement in my scars. First round, I had spotting between periods and some mild insomnia. Six weeks later, I had my second round. This time, I had constant nausea for days at a time and it was crippling. My period started a week earlier than it should have and it was very heavy. At my third session, I explained my symptoms to my dermatologist (after six more weeks) and he said he would give me a much lower dose, so I accepted. Bad move. I am now experiencing some bad hunger pangs even in a full stomach. It constantly feels like I haven't eaten in days. Insomnia was so bad this time that I was awake for about 48 hours no matter what I did to try to sleep. It was maddening. I am fatigued all day and I'll get these random adrenaline rushes that keep me awake when I could potentially nap. I've had pain in my ovaries for days now and days of brown spotting even though I should be weeks away from my period. My following period started a week early and over a month later now it still hasn't stopped. The dilerium eased up after about two and a half months, but the anxiety and depression are still out of control, my period won't stop, I am having trouble with stomach pain and difficulty going to the bathroom, and it left a huge dent in my arm.
