Now, six weeks after my last dose, I am still dealing with insomnia, fast heart rate and heart palps, with occasional nausea and dizziness. I have been to my doctor twice, er once, and have had every test done by my cardiologist. Luckily, my heart is healthy and strong. Today I got my test results back that I have been thrown into full Menopause!! I am experiencing menopause full force, since my body didn't have the chance to ease into it. I have all of the common side effects of Meno, including some unusual ones, including burning mouth syndrom and menopause induced food allergies. I will be starting HRT to improve my quality of life. This drug has changed my life drastically!!! I will NEVER take this again. It is listed in my chart to never give. | F | 53 | 5 days Dose pack | 11/14/2016 | 5 | RA,Fibro,Osteopenia | I have been using Medrol "packs" off and on since diagnosed with RA and other autoimmune disorders in 2010. After trying everything else that is out there for RA and have nothing worked, I asked my RA Doc to put me on it for daily maintenance. With this med you start out on a high dose and lower it to the desired milligram. I decided to stick with 4mg. It helps the morning stiffness, chronic pain and some of the crippling side affects of my RA. I also take pain meds with it. As long as you stay on as low a dose as possible, there are NO LONG TERM SIDE AFFECTS. Your body naturally produces steroids. I would definitely suggest trying this drug if nothing else has worked for you.
