Ascend Laboratories is recalling 2,256
bottles of 10 mg strength Aripiprazole Tablets 30-count
bottles (NDC: 67877-432-03) due to the discovery that the drug is
superpotent, meaning the active ingredient content is higher than
specified. The tablets are manufactured by Alken Laboratories
Ltd. in India and distributed by Ascend Laboratories, LLC,
Parsippany, NJ. Apripiprazole, is an antipsychotic (generic for
Abilify) used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Unichem is recalling one lot of 10 mg cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets due to a labeling mix-up. 230 bottles of Meloxicam USP, 7.5mg, 90-count tablets (yellow in color), were inadvertently labeled as cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets USP, 10 mg 90-count tablets (blue in color). This is a Class I recall, the most urgent kind of recall because of the potential danger to consumers, The pills were manufactured by Unichem Laboratories in Bardez, Goa, India for Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA), Inc. East Brunswick, NJ. The lot number is GMML24026A with a product expiration of 09/30/2027. Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant also used in the brand name drugs Amrix and Flexeril. Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to treat arthritis pain.

Lannett is recalling 8,544 bottles of 40 mg strength lisdexamphetamine dimesylate capsules due to a labeling mix-up. A bottle labeled as Lisdexamphetamine Dimesylate Capsules 40mg, contained Lisdexamphetamine Dimesylate Capsules 30mg. The report does not indicate where these capsules were manufactured or bottled. Lisdexamphetamine is generic for ADHD drug Vyvanse.

of 10 mg dextroamphetamine due to a product mix-up where one 5mg
tablet was included in a bottle of 10 mg tablets. The bottle was
labeled as Dextroamphetamine Saccharate, Amphetamine Aspartate,
Dextroamphetamine Sulfate and Amphetamine Sulfate Tablets, 10mg.
The report does not indicate where these capsules were
manufactured or bottled. Dexedrine is the brand name for this
drug, which is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity

detected on any tablets. The tablets were manufactured by Amneal

various strengths of chlorpromazine hydrochloride tablets due to
the presence of a microorganism on a polyester coil used in
product packaging. No micro-organism was detected on any tablets.
The tablets were manufactured by Amneal Pharma, Ahmedabad India.
Chlorpromazine is an antipsychotic medication formerly branded as
Thorazine.
