I don't know whether I still have original problem . All I know is I feel really bad . I am a strong person but this has knocked me completely . I will be on it for the next ten -12 months if they ween me off slowly , I don't know . All I know is I had bad aches and pains at night , some headaches , they diagnosed me with poly/ giant cell artritis . And prednisalone turned me into a sick , incapacitated , barely functioning person . I still don't know whether I will be cured . Never again, if there is an alternative . If they told me I would be like this for the rest of my life . But woke up the next day and could barely get out of the bed. Since then, I have had problems walking with my right hip and thigh. Very painful to walk, sleep, get up when sitting. I went to Urgent Care on 3/14/17. Had an x-ray done and it was negative. Physician stated that it could be from Prednisone. Yesterday, on 3/20, I saw a pulmonary specialist. I told him about pain. He stated it may go away and I may need physical therapy. I am so frustrated with the pain. I am now afraid of ever taking Prednisone again. Has anyone ever had this problem with Prednisone after completion of their dosage. Yes, I can breathe well now but not walking well at all.
